LINHAS D´ANJO

About Us

Founded in 2012, it emerges as an extension of an inspiration, which initially started from a completely pure thought and has become a great achievement, intuitive and objective.

With Linhas d'ANJO, all the imagination and creativity of its precursor, Anabela, is exposed. Rafael de Jesus joined the project when he completed his fashion design and marketing course, incorporating the know-how and technique essential to the development of each piece.

It is in the concept of uniqueness that the work stands out, for the artisanal process, for the choice of national raw materials and for its own design.

Our purpose is based on bringing, for the most beloved objects, pride for what is Portuguese.

About us

Anabela de Jesus

Anabela de Jesus Silva was born in Cascais in 1963, where she grew up surrounded by dreams that her mother's carnival masks awoke in her. Soon she discovered that she too could express her imagination and talent by transforming woolen threads into warm and fluffy pieces, which she generously offered to friends.

But it is with Linhas d’ANJO in 2012, that it reaches its artistic maturity. It is said that in times of crisis, ingenuity and art are sharpened. And so it happened! Inspired by the great loves of her life, her children - Rafael, Gabriel and Miguel - and with the determination, creativity and commitment that characterize her, Bela shaped a genuinely Portuguese craft project. Always counting on the unconditional support of the family and the tireless contribution of its collaborating artisans, it combines the colorful scarves of Viana do Castelo with fabrics such as cotton or linen, wool or burel, as well as cork and some skin, all materials of national origin. From the hands of this talented team come unique creations, admired and desired, by Portuguese and foreigners.

With participation in national and international handicraft fairs, and with presence in street stores and some historical monuments, Linhas d’ANJO takes the love of its creator and the soul of Portugal around the world.

About us

Rafael de Jesus

In 1990 Anabela's oldest angel, Rafael, was born in Cascais. Since he was little he saw his mother and grandmother creating pieces with fabrics or other material. Let us say that the creative mind and the making hands are in his blood.

Upon entering the university, he wanted to combine scientific knowledge with his creative side and took Fashion Design and Marketing at the University of Minho, in Guimarães.

Since the beginning of Linhas d’ANJO, he joined his mother Bela in building the brand identity and creating proposals, from the initial design to the assembly of many pieces.

Thus, Linhas d’ANJO asserts itself as a small family workshop where handicrafts gain prestige and value, trying to take what is good and Portuguese around the world.
